Incident: Austin fell into a piece of furniture and sustained a laceration to his cheek.
“Back in January, my daughter needed stitches on her face. After going to a pediatric walk in and then to a hospital, I learned that the only person who would stitch her face was a pediatric plastic surgeon (who was not on call in the first hospital). I was given the Dr.STITCH number to text and they were amazing in guiding me to find a plastic surgeon on call. This past Sunday when my son fell, I texted the Dr.STITCH number that I had saved in my phone. They looked at the picture and called me directing me to a local hospital. When I got there, the doctor was waiting for us and stitched him right away! It saved us so much time!! I definitely recommend saving that number just in case! We had two really good experiences”
